Our Story

We have been on our own journey of self-discovery and self-healing since we moved from the Czech Republic to the UK fourteen years ago. Precious ancient wisdom, teachings and practices from the greatest teachers, trainers and tutors have helped us evolve on many levels and qualify as professional practitioners in holistic massage, sound and yoga therapies. Life is a gift and health is wealth. Discovering the healing power of nature, ayurvedic treatments and yogic practices have been an incredible life changing and healing experience for us. Ayurveda, meaning The Knowledge Of Life in Sanskrit, is an ancient holistic medical system more than 5,000 years old that deals with all aspects of health. Ayurveda, called 'Mother Of All Medicines', is about longevity and quality of life. The ayurvedic approach of health and disease is prevention oriented and treats not only symptoms but also the root of a disease. A girls gang from England has come to spend a good quality time and make beautiful memories together in Carmarthenshire, the heart of West Wales and make the most of the fun and relaxation weekend.

The group booked me to run a wellness activity in their accommodation @thecorscountry after @coastal_foraging_with_craig.

The individuals in the group had different personal preferences and physical abilities. Therefore, customising the session to different needs required a flexible and inclusive approach. I made the session accessible to all fitness levels by offering variations, adapting intensity and providing props that help to improve stability and alignment, enhance relaxation and prevent injuries.
The whole group enjoyed the session very much. And I was very happy to hear that.

I have started the Restorative Yoga Teacher training with Manouk Tideman, an experienced Yoga Teacher Trainer and certified Yoga Therapist, at @yoga.with.manouk this week. 💜
I absolutely loved our first session, exploring what language to use, when and how to offer Restorative Yoga poses and I enjoyed exploring so many various kinds of Shavasana pose in different positions, angles, with props and how to help clients to adjust if they are pregnant or they have health concerns, conditions, injuries or they are recovering from a surgery. ❤️

⭐️ WHAT IS GENTLE YOGA?

It is a slower and gentler practice of yoga in a safe and supportive space, suitable for anyone, regardless of age or physical condition. It allows one to move at a comfortable pace, with less intense positions. It usually includes more warm up movements; restorative and relaxation poses and calming breathing techniques. There is a strong emphasis on stretching, breathing, seated poses and low-impact movements.
It is great for anyone who is afraid they are not flexible or fit enough to do the yoga poses or for people with injuries, pain, mobility or health issues or anyone who feels restless and has difficulties in falling asleep at night.
