RELAXATION | STRESS & ANXIETY RELIEF

Inclusive and interactive classes designed for teens to help relax, reduce stress and anxiety, develop coping techniques, gain flexibility, support immune and respiratory systems, maintain joint mobility, self-regulate and build social confidence in a fun and friendly group.

NOTE: No previous yoga and mindfulness experience needed.

Pre-teens are also welcome.

Every Tuesday, 4:30-5:30pm

Pavlina is an experienced teaching assistant, enhanced DBS checked and a fully qualified and insured children and adults’ yoga teacher. She is committed to meeting everyone where they are. There is support, encouragement, and calm within her classes.

Her intention is to create a safe space for everybody to explore through the body and breath awareness, learn to connect with the body and mind through movement, simple poses, breathing, mindfulness and relaxation techniques, and enjoy being in their body’s.

NOTE: Please be sure to let your teacher know before class if you have any form of injury or serious illness.

WE OFFER

We practise Hatha Yoga that focuses on bodily posture and breathing. Hatha Yoga is a therapeutic movement system integrating breath awareness. The poses help to release tension and stress in the body and develop strength, flexibility and body alignment. We also follow Mindfulness practices that increase attention span, amplify focus, build resiliency to stress, and promote empathy.
